Importance of Being Individualistic

Importance of Being Individualistic

Before beginning my speech I would like to say that being individual is so important. So by my speech I’m going to explain the importance. I’ve have read individualism related articles such as the influences of individualism to the society, politics, culture, history and economy.

By living individually people can own living practice, can solve problems by themselves, and can earn their own money. So, imagine a person who lives with his parents which means a person who is not independent. What will happen when his parents die or go away one day. Maybe he will inherit their money, house, car and such things. But would he know how to spend these treasures. He wouldn’t be ready in this situation. Therefore making children independent person from their tender age is one kind of preparation for their future lives. This is the first advantage.

Today, in this globalized world all countries are developing. Some are developing very fast some are slow and some can’t develop. Why? What is the reason of it? What do you think? … World’s famous economists and politicians consider that it mostly depends on two main factors which are: Citizens’ Individualism and their personal development. In this case if any country which wants to develop should pay more attention to their citizens’ development and individualism. Individualism: A Valid and Important Dimension of Cultural Differences between Nations.

Otherwise Individualism is also important because it shows an independent spirit. It shows spirit and determinism. One must decide his destiny by his own individualistic mind in order to live happily. It means being individual gives you freedom and all the things that you wanted to have.

All of you want satisfied lives, am I right? Of course I’m right. To have satisfied life one must become Individualistic person in many factors. Now we are seventeen years old. We can do our homework and lessons very individually. Can we do other things individually out of our parents’ control? So it is not too early to become individualistic person like your parents. Let’s think about it.
